Nick's Knacks
Prototype - Layered Mountain Pair
Prototype - Layered Mountain Pair
An early Nick’s Knacks layered fabrication study exploring dimensional landscape construction through stacked wood profiles and engraved detail.
The pair features mountain peaks, evergreen silhouettes, and foreground landscape elements built across multiple wood layers. The exposed edges of the stacked material help create additional depth while the engraved artwork adds definition to the individual landscape elements.
This study was created while experimenting with compact layered display pieces and dimensional wood construction.
